Dr Muthukumara Raja Natarajan is a UK-trained Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, with over twenty years of experience in mental healthcare.
He has worked extensively within the National Health Service and has held senior leadership roles including Clinical Director and Director of Medical Education. He has led service development, contributed to postgraduate medical education, and trained clinicians nationally and internationally.
Dr Natarajan is the founder of Bodhi Mind Care Hospital in India, where he has developed integrated psychiatric and psychological services. His clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centred care, with a strong emphasis on ethical prescribing, careful formulation, and long-term recovery.
